Akron is highly rated by Kenpom but I just looked at their schedule and it looks like they’ve beaten the bad teams they’ve played and lost to the good teams they’ve played. No impressive wins, and some big losses. Miss State, LSU, Marshall, and Bradley all beat them by double digits.

They still have some good players but do not seem to be as good but they have owned us for quite awhile

These eastern MAC teams always seemed dominant to us from our perspective as a not-trying-very-hard program that was content to employ low-ceiling coaches for years on end. But, in all these many years, there was never any real reason we shouldn't have been as good or better.

We are two point favorites. I was just getting ready to post this its been a long time since we were favored in a game against Akron. I hate it as I prefer the underdog roll. If we are a favorite though then we need to show it |

We know Akron is afraid if they are resorting to mind games with us. Lewis is breaking BSU tendencies (e.g. beating the teams we are supposed to beat; not collapsing at the end of games) but I've got 20 years of seeing the guy who is playing injured or his backup having a career game against us. |

yep truth, but you bring up a great point. Have we seen a guy have a career day on us yet. Seems like it happened nearly everygame the past few years

Question is, can he bring them back to earth and really focus on good solid basketball tonight. I'm actually glad it is against a top team. Perfect time for a let down against a lessor opponent.
