Looks like a good schedule depends on those tournament gigs and those are contracts made a year ahead. Not sure how much Lewis controls that.
Sadly it will be very hard to ever get good teams on the home schedule.
But I do expect more long term home and home with Indiana and other surrounding state D1 teams and getting down to one, at most two lower division teams.

Land o' Goshen - What a schedule. Oakland City - A member of the NCCAA (National Christian Collage Athletic Association) 9-19 in 2022-23. Lost to IU-Kokomo by 38. Beat Goshen by 4. Goshen - NAIA -3-25 in 2022-23 - Lost to Western Michigan by 37. Lost to Miami by 43. Rose Hulman - NCAA DIII - 17-11 in 2022-23 Won a tough game with Earlham (won 57-52). Of course we beat Earlham by 70. You know probably two of these games will not be exhibition. We shouldn't have to pay for these games. Pathetic. Not a schedule created by a coach who is confident in his roster, but I would expect the other schools to at least be a challenge regardless of their basketball pedigree. Since I have lived in Goshen for 20 years, I’ll make the trip to Muncie and cheer my Cardinals on to Victory! Goshen College’s media center has beaten Ball U out of numerous awards for their radio station.

I cannot believe we are playing the Maple Leafs from Goshen. What is the deal? I am ashamed. I am rooting for the boys from Goshen.

If this was still Jimmy Whit, we would accuse him of padding his victory total......just sayin'

I remember how Whitford used to shamelessly pad his win total by scheduling the likes of Michigan Tech.

Whatever the reason, two games like this is just wrong. I wonder if the wins are really the motive and what the money side of the story is. It's getting harder to bring in tougher opponents in general. Maybe some of that is the guarantee required. I also wonder what road games or tournaments were options and what we may have missed there?
