I hope folks can come and check out the phase II improvements at Ball Diamond in First Merchants Ballpark. The facility is very nice.
First pitch on Friday is 3:00 pm ET, Saturday's DH starts at 12 noon ET, and Sunday's single game starts at 1:00 pm ET
We also host Purdue, next Tuesday 3/22 @ 3:00 pm ET.
Due to my work, I cannot get to a game until some time in April.

It is a big upgrade. Maybe not the best in the MAC, but such a big upgrade.

Can't get back to IN until middle of May and the team is on the road that entire week. Will go by the field to see the phase II.

If you haven't seen the renovated baseball stadium, check out the Ball State Athletics TV commercial. The end of the commercial features a drone flyover of the recently finished baseball stadium:

If I scoured properly, it didn't look as though Plesac pitched at all this weekend. Anybody know of anything going on there ??

I'm not close enough to know if he's healthy. He's went from ineffective starts to ineffective reliefs. You would think, though, that the Dayton series would allow innings to work on something.
oh, and hitting has really picked up the last 10 games. Four guys now above .300 with 21 games in their pocket. Rindfleisch now at .314 after a very slow start to the season.

I did see that Plesac was DHing during the LSU series, but don't know why he's not pitching.
