Does the transfer rule still apply that when your coach gets fired you can transfer without penalty?

Today IU lost to Penn State 85-71. IU played 8 but no minutes for Sparks.

Think maybe Sparks has lived his dream and will now want to go where he can actually get on the floor?

I don’t think he will play for Lewis!! Nope. That ship has sailed. He and his family aren't Lewis fans.

I guess he’s content to get paid to sit and not be coached hard and hear bad words vs having to listen to a hard coaching potty mouth…. They might not like Lewis but he still helped Sparks get that iu money and scholarship by putting in the good word with Woodson. (And Lewis was pretty damn good to Sparks last year.)

Yes, Lewis's coaching utterly transformed Sparks from a 13.5/8.5 player as a freshman to a 13.3/8.7 player as a sophomore.

IU has found that Sparks had reached his pinnacle in his freshman season. Lewis tried in vain and could not move the needle, except for affecting his FT confidence

IU has found that Sparks had reached his pinnacle in his freshman season. Lewis tried in vain and could not move the needle, except for affecting his FT confidence He made him a better passer and able to play better in P&R situations. He and nobody else could make him a great defender or much of a shooter. He'd be able to play and play well in the MAC, where he'd be the biggest guy on the floor.

I personally believe you get more with the type of culture Brady has built with the Women’s team!
If an in your face culture provides a winner I’m okay with it but in my world of business this type of culture doesn’t work so well with todays workers or maybe in this case players.

It will be interesting to see if Lewis gets the players he recruited to return. The players we lost last spring were all Whit's accept Cleary. Cleary has had a great yr at LeMoyne averaging 16 ppg & 5 rebounds.

Since when is Brady Sallee a softy? He's not. But he's also evolved with his experience so he knows when to push, when to pull, when to back off, etc. And he puts as much into caring for his team as he does coaching it.
