I am going to go out on a limb and say one of our 2024-25 starters is not on the team yet. Hope you're correct !!!!!!!!! If he's right that means a significant addition.

We're optimistic that we'll be significantly better than last year. Along with the fact that other MAC schools seem to have been hit hard that could mean some conference success.
We lost a lot. Jihad our best all around offensive player, Bailey our best outside shooter, Anderson who was a quality offensive player, Middleton who came on to be our main bench player.
We lost walk on Futa, and scholarship players Wells, Brown and Adams. So 7 scholarship players gone.
We did not exactly lose much on defense...and we were lacking the depth to really fast or play all out on defense.
Our replacements for the 4 big losses are Sparks who will match Jihad's inside game, Hart who should be a good outside shooter, Hernandez who will be an offensive player and Fatt Hill who is a JUCO guard.
Pearson, Jones return who were starters. Zagorsak who was pressed into use off the bench is back. We also have Watts and Doughty coming off injury. Ben played injured last year and should be 100%. And, we signed a freshman recruit who is a good athlete. 6 scholarship players back right now.
5 scholarships used so far. Added a walk on. 2 more scholarships to use.

As soon as we have a full roster we can start talking sensibly about how much we have improved.
Right now we can probably say we have improved post play and rebounding. We lacked good PG play, added some ball handling.
We can hope Pearson, Jones and Watts can replace the outside shots Jihad took. Pearson and Jones should be a bit better than they were a year ago.
Overall we are deeper and that by itself should allow faster paced play, improve defense, give the coaches more options and give us more energy at the end of games.
Lewis should have a better roster this year to work with, but we can't really compare until we see how he fits the pieces together in what should be a different approach to play.

If he's right that means a significant addition. If he is better than edwards thats great Can we really expect that? Sherm seems to have summarized just how much we can count on from edwards.

I'm going with
Sparks Jones Hernandez Hart Yet-to-be-named point guard
Have no confidence in Brittain-Watts purely because of his injury history and can't believe Lewis would either. He could be the guy, but gotta be another PG on the way.
That would give us Pearson, Hill, Doughty, Hendriks off the bench if everyone is healthy. Wouldn't be a terrible rotation to work with.
