Dayton comes too early maybe, we could use more strong games like that.
Home schedule has Evansville, Detroit Mercy, ISU. Not sure how good any will be, but would like those schools as regulars on the schedule.
Not so much to like with Franklin, but one early game like that par for the course. Big break at Christmas, and an odd Dec 31 filler game.
Buffalo was in the Gulf Coast Showcase last year. Will be 3 mid majors over Thanksgiving Break. Hope we get a good team or two.
Dayton looks like our best opponent non con.

I know EKU is another team playing in that tournament with us. Trying to look up the others. I don’t have Rob Calhoun connections though so my search is a slow one.

If we can get 3 games anything like MAC level it would be outstanding. By end of November things should be sorting themselves out. With 3 games in 3 days it is a good test of our bench. May see everybody play some good minutes except the true freshmen.

Rotating between EKU and NKU, home and away, each four years would be a good scheduling feature. Same with rotating Dayton and Wright State, or Xavier, in the same fashion would be good. Sure miss the Butler days.

I'd take that deal for the after Christmas game. It's Indy, we'd serve our fans well. If we build some attendance we could pay more and improve home schedule, eliminate one D3, NAIA game at least.

I don't see the Gulf Coast Showcase being updated, either on their site or on bloggingthebracket.com which still shows five teams with three more TBA. There are no D-1 teams available, according to bloggingthebracket.com, so I don't know what they will do. Will they fill the three slots with D-2/3 teams, NAIA teams? Will they cancel the tourney? Will some other arrangements be made? Maybe the tourney has eight teams, but no announcements or updates have been made. Does anyone know anything?
Seems to me that someone may have dropped the ball.

You might think they'd name the 5 teams committed. If they had a good plan...
