Watch the after the Central game press conference. I saw a shaken beaten down coach that 9 years of not doing so good were taking a toll. This was one of the toughest losses ever for BSU and a tough knowing what to do to fix the defense was needed but knowing what to do and how to fix it is needed. Are we that slow on defense or just hopelessly out of position or both. Out of this there were some good plays on both offense and defense but not enough of them Oh please. This same shit was said about "how shaken Neu looked" after games in previous years, and nothing happened. He just went out the next week and served up another turd burger and we all took a big bite. He won't quit, and we won't buy out more than 1 year of his contract, so he's not going anywhere, either willingly or unwillingly. |

What's the buyout this year? Last year I heard it was over $1 million?
If we let Neu go, I fear BSU will make the most BSUish decision and name Kevin Lynch as HC.

If not extended this year he will go in lame duck status and that will not happen buy will be in the 600,000 dollar range and BSU or Booster will pay it |

I hope people want to win and I hope they take it personally. That tells me that they care about Ball State. I want that to be the case.
"Anytime there's a loss, it starts with me. It's my fault. I understand that. That's part of this profession. That's part of doing this for a career."
In eight seasons at the helm, Neu's teams have gone 37-56 (23-39 MAC).
$600,000. I suggest Goetz kick in a little for making such an egregious error in management

The MAC currently has the dead-f*cking-last spot with Kent and also the second-to-dead-f*cking-last spot with Akron. MAC football being MAC football, I suspect this is not the first time this has happened. And soon-to-be-MAC-member UMass is third-to-dead-f*cking-last, so MAC football is indeed growing it's brand and it's footprint in its accustomed style.
BSU looms at sixth-to-dead-f*cking-last and certainly has to be considered a contender to finish the season at the very bottom. Kent and Akron play each other in November And what an eagerly anticipated match up THAT must be - the two lowest ranked teams in the country playing each other in northeast Ohio November weather.

I read this morning that Dan Towriss has invested over 1 billion dollars in the Andretti Global racing team. I don't think there will be issues buying out Neu.
