Mike never has had an OC who truly understands offensive football today or had a good feel for a game from play to play. I've found the play calling to be very offensive. Perhaps Mike was confused and used the wrong definition of offensive when choosing his OC.

Nothing "offensive" about the "Run, Run, Lateral pass" gameplan

Nothing "offensive" about the "Run, Run, Lateral pass" gameplan Speaking of that, how bout Florida State? Woof. Talk about a bad offense. I'm not sure they could beat Toledo or Miami.

More proof the pre-season rankings are a bunch of nonsense. Even more now when rosters are rebuilt yearly.

More proof the pre-season rankings are a bunch of nonsense. Even more now when rosters are rebuilt yearly. I’ve long suspected that pre-season rankings are influenced by making early matchups look more marquee than they actually are.

Clemson being old school and not doing NIL is paying a heavy price.

Also watched parts of all the MAC games and they all looked like they knew what they were doing. Miami seemed a little off on execution. NW was not particularly impressive. I think we have the talent but have not in seven years shown what to do with it. Pemberton and Spegal could really soften up a defensive line and Semonza could do his thing but is there anyone on the team who can get open and catch the ball Semonza has a whole lot to prove, IMHO
