It's just fucking embarrassing. Literally zero desire to go watch this shit show in Nashville WITH family?! Kill me now. Vandy just lost to Georgia State. Georgia State beat FCS Chattanooga by 3 just the previous week. If Vandy’s QB keeps running like a mad man he might not be healthy by the time we play them. There’s still a glimmer of hope we can be competitive that game.

Go Back and start at week O look atvtge scores of Top 10 vs G5,s Your going to see that outside Nd And PSU last week all these games have similar scores as our today... Lets just wait and see whst happens with cmu who I think was losing to Illinois 30-6 earlier today We got our payday. Bad news this opening stretch is losing the receivers our QB might be able to use. Whether anything else can be improved is still unknown.

None of the expected “big time” WR are still standing and really average oline despite trumpeting their vast experience = no passing game vs any defense worth a damn. No passing game = what was the point of burying Kelly again? (In theory Semonza is the much better QB But with no WR and no time to throw we’re just kinda wasting our time during the march to the end of Neu.
All that rant said, if we show we can actually be a representative MAC team vs CMU then maybe we’re looking at another 4 win MAC team. (And still the end of Neu). We can say it a million times— love Mike, but he’s not a head coach. Great Card, great rah rah guy, is great for the players and families, but when the lights come on we just look lost more often than not. I don’t see enough talent organization of talent.
Here’s to hoping looking like absolute shit yesterday was a one off and we dig deep and get it together. History says we won’t.

Yeah, I could have simply said, can we win with this team and staff? History says we won’t.

Are the receivers out for a long time? Obviously against a team like that that is on a role, were were going to get murdered without available receivers. Can't keep our defense off the filed is just trouble.
Let's move on and hopefully get players back.

Ceiling is still more or less the same. All goes well, 5, MAYBE 6. Ceiling. Worst case, pretty grim.

If we are to be competitive in the MAC have to get a win vs CMU. Lose there only probable win is against Kent. I have to favor CMU by at least 10.

It is very frustrating that this BSU offense still thinks its a good move on 3rd and 10 to throw a short flair pass to a receiver behind the line of scrimmage.
WTF! It has never worked in a MAC game, and its not going to work against the #10 team with much quicker defensive players.
I think Semonza started the game 7 of 7 and none of those passes was past the line of scrimmage. He ended up 16 of 26 for 111 yards passing... a 111 yards!
BSU had 9 total first downs, 6 downs rushing, 109 yards passing.
So, did we get a new OC?

For this game it makes some sense if it advances the chains a few times and holds the score down.
We were not going to have time, nor do we have the receivers to pretend we could somehow do much passing. First downs were more the goal, a few more of them, a drive or two that kept the clock going, and it would be a "victory" of sorts. Keep the defense on the bench resting...

3rd and 10? With this offensive line? It never advances the chains. Come on! Press downfield! It will also open up slots for the running game. You keep throwing passes behind the line of scrimmage, the whole defense begins to creep up.

See could be worse lol... 62-0 71-0 I project the Cardinals to be a 9 pt favorite against Kent State Now that is funny!

Regardless of the competition, this team is screaming for needing new blood from an all around coaching standpoint. They deserve better.
