Honestly this is the worst defense I have ever seen. They have scored a touchdown on every possession except for the 30 seconds before halftime.
The offense keeps giving them the ball at midfield going for it every 4th down.
3rd and inches and we decide to throw a backwards screen and lose 2 yards. Bad coaching. The offense has talent. The defense is just hopeless.

holy cow - 4th & 2 on our own 30 - WTF! Neu - you are killing these kids confidence. Semonza is too short - so many knocked down passes.

Semonza is damn good but cant lock in koziol JMU will take it away soon damn good - 3 INTs? Rob totally jinxed him. I’d give Blazek a shot now. Jmu is really good, BUT, we are so obviously slow and lacking athleticism at key spots, and have no clue in the secondary and that is all on Mike. Thr recruiting wasn’t near good enough and the portal gave us what? Offensively we look no different than prior years. The whole thing is abysmal and the only way out is a totally fresh start from top to bottom. Which won’t happen til after the season. Need a staff that can identify and recruit upper level MAC talent and hit the portal a lot harder. |

How bout just get running backs carries the rest of the way. And going forward, either truly game plan Kelly into the offense with some imaginative plays or let him play DB and put him on the field and let him learn.
Honestly Kelly should bail after this game and redshirt and go somewhere elsewhere next year if a redshirt is possible.

Looking at the boxscore now - I didn’t realize there were 4 RB’s ahead of Spegal on the depth chart. Thought he might get a shot at some carries this year but it looks like he is buried on the bench which surprises me.
