The Delta HS job is open. Im willing to bet alot of money that Either Billy or Kevin maybe both will be roaming Deltas Sideline and Im 1000% ok with it. Billy is great with the kids.. Things may not have worked as D1 college coaches but they know football and they are good guys. Good guys: Mmmmm. I guess it all depends on where you stand and your experice. |

Sure not everyone is going to like everyone that's life.. I know these guys from a football perspective, a community perspective, a father son perspective. While Ive been number one to point out that results at Ball state have not been at all good my dealings with them outside of that have been great. I think that either or both coaching at the high school level would be pretty good. There are not a lot of high schools that could throw a D1 staff together in a half hour.. Delta Could I hope they do. As fans we act like failed coaches do not know football the reality is they have forgotten more about coaching than 90% of America. Im not just referring to the lynches professional/college coaches across the board fall into this category |

On an unrelated note, it's reported that CMU's Jim McElwain is retiring; reported to become an assistant AD or something according to the MAC message board:
"At 4-7 on the season, Central Michigan is off this week before wrapping up their 2024 campaign at Northern Illinois on Nov. 30. Afterward, McElwain will move into a special assistant to the AD role within the CMU athletics department."
