I think it all stems from a recruiting battle they got into while Dickhead was coaching Bowling Green. What's funny is while some don't care for Ray, Dakich is universally disliked by everyone within the coaching fraternity. I used to laugh when he claimed he was getting all these calls about open positions. The guy is a flat out clown. Being disliked by Dakich is a complement.

We got Lonnie. He didn't. Yeah it was Lonnie. I'd forgotten who it was. Being heckled at Worthen probably has something to do with it as well. The really disgusting thing is Dakich constantly puts down the MAC and alludes that he was a good coach and the conference brought him down.

Dakich sure hasn't made a secret of his hate for Ray. Yea. I about called into his show one day when he kept talking about IU's probation during the Sampson era and calling Ray a lying cheat. Well,'I looked at the NCAA report and 2 assistants were cleared for no wrongdoing; Dakiich and Ray. Maybe he knows something we don't but his crap is tiring. Dakich was a player nobody liked because he played hard and overachieved in a system that fit his limited game. As a coach he was disliked for thinking he was his mentor, and clearly he was not. His idea that we should be skeptical about many coaches who rely on dubious recruiting methods is just fine, it is a truism that many if most violate the rules, but he indiscriminately applied that standard every time he lost a recruiting battle, which destroyed his credibility.

I imagine that listeners who only know about his BG career from what he says on the radio would be shocked to know that he finished 9th, 7th, 8th, 10th and 12th his last 5 years. In other words he completely sucked. I can guess just how sick BG people were of him by the end of that string.

Heard an interesting story about Dakich just the other night. When Cory Ryan from Northeastern was playing and playing a decent amount of minutes for BGSU they played at Miami. Probably a 45 minute drive from Northeastern to Oxford. Decent crowd of people showed up to the game from the Richmond area and Ryan for unknown reasons played only a mop-up role. Did not start and had minimal minutes. Next game he was right back to his normal average playing time minutes. Nice guy !!!!!

Just reading these posts and hearing the name in my head has totally ruined my evening. I was driving thru Indiana on business last year and scanning the radio....and picked up his crappy show. I don't know what's more disgusting, him or the fools that feel the need to call in and patronize him.

I can't stand listening to "Dickage" and one of the few times I ever listen to him he was ripping on Ball State and I call the station and ripped on him but never got past the guy taking the phone call. He's a clown and a chump.
