Trainers may have to be ready to treat for frost bite. I was outside and would not want to have to handle a baseball today, especially a wet one.

Growing up, we always started the HS season playing East Chicago Washington at old Block Stadium in late March. Always flurries during that game. They have a kerosene turbo heater, plus heat lamps in the dugout. They'll be good to go. |

DAMN! They did cancel today's game due to the rain.
I guess field turf dires quickly, but when you get this steady drizzle, it's just too slick and never dries.
A single game will be played Saturday @ 3:00 pm (9 innings)
They will play a DH on Sunday ( 2 7-inning games, I'm guessing). Time is TBA.

Removing snow for a sunny start to the game at 3:00 pm today. Still a GO.
is it possible they'll try to squeeze in two today since there is 70% rain chance on Sunday?
