We made it way too easy on opposing pitchers during the swoon.

I have one thought for you baseball experts. Did we become too complacent with wind assisted home runs that it effected how we hit the latter part of the season ? I only saw, in person, about 3 innings of the game that was being played the same day as the Spring Football Game, so I certainly don't have a definite thought, but it was something that kinda hit me when we were pounding a bunch of home runs and then it all seemed to dry up.
I never really give a shit about HR production, wind aided or not. I like players that work singles, doubles, walks. Just get on base...Make the other pitching throw a lot... Keep their defense on the field for as long as needed to make them wear out, or want to quit. HRs are great to watch, but I'd rather work the bases like a merry-go-round. That's not what I was saying. I'm questioning that maybe some guys got into home run swings thinking they were power hitters when some of their long balls were wind assisted. You get your swing screwed up and your whole game can go to pot. I figured there were some followers of the team that might have some input on that thoughts, not that we can probably pinpoint it.
