I think drafting Willie as a late round sleeper pick in our Fantasy leagues should be mandatory for membership here at OTP, lol. Hey, there is an idea. OTP Board Fantasy league. anyone? Bueller?

I took Willie in the last round of my FF league and will hold onto him the entire year regardless of his position on the team. |

Another tough week for Edwards and Wenning. Jahwan had 3 carries for a total of 1 yard (again), and Keith didn't get much of a chance, only attempting one pass, which was incomplete.
Baker had a tackle for the Falcons. Newsome and Patterson each had a tackle for the Colts. I saw that Kitt O'Brien is sneaking his way up the depth chart for Indy, too.
In other news, Willie Snead has 3 catches for 41 yards for the Saints...and it ain't even halftime yet.

GO WILLIE GO!! Had one play that the corner had to grab him to break up a long gainer resulting in a pass interference. Willie just made one more catch to set up a field goal try. I think the Saints have found themselves a Cardinal. Field goal good to end the half 13-6 Saints trail.

Looks like Snead is done for the day with 4 catches for 56 yards on 6 targets, all team highs so far. I didn't see the first quarter, did he play with the first team at all?
In other news, I'd be willing to set up a FF league if there is any interest, should I start a thread either here or in The Chug to see?

Was set to watch the Saints game on DirecTv here and the channel has had technical difficulties the whole time, so no picture. Grrrrrrr

Checked the ESPN Gamecast stats. Looked like a couple of incompletes and a pass interference early. His stats the rest of the half were perfect with the number 2 QB.
Solid day for Willie. Looking good as a roster opportunity.

Brees,Colston, and cooks only had the first series, Willie came after the first series. He came in with coleman so at least for today he was the number 3 or 4 receiver. First pass too him was batted down, second was behind him on a route across the middle had he caught it he would have gotten killed. He caught everything else except the ball he was interfered with. He had a nice stiff arm to gain some yards after catch on one of the passes. His main competition at this point is Josh And Joe Morgan who came in after willie departed did not do much. Toon did not play due to injury. He has really climbed the depth chart and its looking better for him everyday

Got to remember there are like 700 more players to be cut throughout the league to get down to the 53 man rosters. If you're already cut, it could happen that someone gives you a look, but the odds just ain't good. |
