I'll have what you guys are drinking, pass it over. I think our result will be more about how the players respond. We have the talent and ability to beat anyone in the MAC. If the players are locked in and we make good decisions on play calling and game management, this is very winnable. I don't really see the players being locked in. I think the majority liked Neu and we now have nothing to play for. I expect this to be our worst loss of the season. |

Post game on the radio coach said we are just too selfish to share the ball and it is on him to correct that. Maybe, but I don't get the constant rotation of players in and out that doesn't breed selfishness. My God, it was a merry-go-round of substitutions the WHOLE game. I thought that in the second half of the Dayton game that we finally were getting untracked, but these last two games we have just shit the bed. We do suck and can we at least get better? I am doubting that at this point. We may not have the ball movement Lewis wants, but unless he wants layups all the time, it seems to me we're getting plenty of decent shots. The issue seems to be we can't shoot for shit. Our only game above 40% from the field was Franklin. Our only game above 30% from 3 was Dayton, and most of the time we're at 25% or worse. You can share the ball all you damn want, but if players can't knock down shots you still ain't winning. Yep my thoughts exactly. We have a lot of passing around the perimeter that doesnt get inside, yet we still seem to get a decent amount of good shots. We had multiple airballs tonight. We dont have a single guy who when they get the ball in their hands I think “here we go!” This is going to be a long season. |

I’m not sad. They paid him good for 9 years for what they got back. It’s a business. He was ineffective. I’d say the two are not mutually exclusive. I have had to fire people because I run a business and they were ineffective, but also felt bad about it. |

I just finished the game and really dont like what I’ve seen. Looks to me like Lewis’ best year here will be year 1 with Whitford’s guys. He hasn’t shown any ability to put together his own team.
Nobody is hoping he proves me wrong more than me. But that ISU team was absolutely gutted from last year and came into Worthen and beat us by 10. And it didnt even feel that close. ISU dominated the last 10 minutes. ISU sucks. This game was unacceptable.
I’m curious from anyone who was there. What is Lewis’ demeanor? He seems way more mellow this year. The shit I saw today would have turned his face purple in his first two years but I didnt see any of that.
