I prefer the term "Muncie Mafia." He called some of us brutal assholes.. Anyone in particular?

BSU 31-27, as long as BSU can contain "the big play." Should be 4-0 in the MAC right now. Our losses were by 3 points each and our wins were by 2 points each. So we’re closer to being 0-4 than 4-0.

Let's get Monday morning licked off right with Miami Discussions. First, my last thought on the NIU game. We won. Barley.... We played just good enough to win. I wouldn't say we beat NIU whatever the score. Miami 31 Ball St 14 What say you? I say we'll lose. Oats...

Their passing game being bad would mean more to me if I had seen evidence that we can stop a bad passing game.

I’m not a fan of midseason replacement. It’s always someone internal and then you put yourself in an awkward position if they somehow do well. Do you stick with them despite the fact that they were part of a failing program? Or do you fire an interim HC who beat expectations? Damed if you do, damned if you dont. Just ride it out and start the search for the next guy immediately.

I wasn't as impressed with the Vanderbilt loss as others but we did actually look like a football team which is new for this year. Oh it definitely wasn't impressive. But I'm less embarrassed by our Vanderbilt loss than I am by our Kent win. That's just the state of our program.

I have seen that NIU's offense is very bad. So we can probably keep them under 40.
NIU 39 - BSU 20.

Does Vandy not know that our pass defense is horrendous? Why are they running so much? They are moving the ball for sure. But passing is easy TD’s. They are doing it the hard way. They’re physically dominating us now. Sure, but why physically dominate a MAC team and settle for a fg when you can just give it to a speedster in space? I cant think of a worse strategy against us than run the ball down to the redzone and then start passing. Pass at your own 20 where our DBs will be waiting to get juked out at midfield.

Man, I’m not saying it would have made a difference, but Vandy got away with the most egregious hold I’ve ever seen there on their td.

One thing I have never seen is evidence that FCS is actually cheaper. Once you're in the non-scholarship leagues I would assume that proves itself, although I was offered an "academic" scholarship to a small school that was tied to me being on their soccer team. Most of our current games are still drivable, so I'm not seeing much savings there. I have no idea what other costs go into it, but I don't think it's safe to assume it's cheaper.
