At some point the conversation will have to made about playing for Mikes Job.. They all the say they love him so much so can they use that on the field Looks like everyone loves him except the fans. I guess if the admin and the players think you’re great, who cares if you win 🤷♂️ I'm not sure what it is, but even a lot of fans love him too. I've been ready for a change for a while but I really want him to succeed. I would much rather win with Mike than win with someone else. But I'd rather win with someone else than lose with Mike.

CBS ratings: Cards drop to 123. Kent State on the bottom rung so many MAC schools in the bottom 12 - Ball State, Central MI, UMass, Akron, Kent State It's the MAC's version of the poison pill. We don't have the worry about any of our conference brethren being poached by other conferences.

Well, well, well. Look who is 100% RIGHT so far. Omniscience. You're picking low hanging fruit. It’s the only fruit I can reach.

My 10 year old granddaughter who doesn't know squat about football could have picked those to correctly. Wait a few more weeks before you start bragging on yourself. Strike while the iron is hot. That's my motto.

We beat Virginia too! And I think USF when they were in the Big East? I'd say that Virginia win was our best ever as a program For me no win has ever compared to 2008 CMU.

That was all pretty silly for that 4th down. We’re gonna get torched now. Yep. Just punt it and try to keep the score down.

We’ve taken the crowd out of the game.

That's real interesting, but still ridiculous on our part. I have no idea what anyone on our staff could have been thinking. Oh yeah. Totally inexcusable. The line judge who should have caught the false start was out of position because he also didn't realize the ref gave the ready for play signal.

Why even were we huddled at the sideline during live play? Really bad unforced error. I remember a play during Brady Hoke’s tenure while his job was still in jeopardy where our defense was looking at the sideline when the ball was snapped. They realized it was live as the ball sailed over their heads for a wide open td catch. This reminded me of that. I re-watched the game and took a video of the snafu where we were huddled on the sideline when Mo. State snapped the ball. Running the play back in slow motion, the WR got a little too excited and false started. So at the end of the day we were the wronged party there, in that it should have been offsetting penalties.

The tailgate issue has been resolved. As I suspected it was the overzealous rookie security company. Not BSU or CVC. But why were there not meetings in advance to cover do's and don'ts with the contractor and why was there no oversight of said contractor the day of? BSU just continues to alienate what little fan base it has left. A few years after I had graduated I was at a game with some friends and as we were walking around what is now the general admission section I pointed to the nice walkway they had constructed in front of the bleachers and all the nice brick and everything and wondered to my friend why they didn't allow people to walk there. They've now opened it up but when it was first constructed they had temporary metal gates with security blocking it during games. I made eye contact with a security guard who was standing at the gate while I was pointing at it. The security guard followed us for a bit then poked me on the shoulder and asked to search my pockets. I had no contraband so nothing came of it, but it was all very weird and off-putting.

I'm hoping it isn't BSU but rather the new security company (CSC). We've never had a real security company before. Just the baseball team or other students. We'll see what happens. CVC will be getting enough calls about it from upset people. Hell they don't even need security in the Gold Lot. Nothing wild ever happens there. I only set the parking lot on fire by accident once. Nothing to see here. Go patrol the wild side of Tillotson. I've seen the CSC yellowjackets (read that how you want) at the Arena for a few years. They seem to serve mostly to keep the riffraff out of the courtside seats that snowbirds aren't using and couldn't give away. Better to have those empty, I guess. I'm of two minds on that issue. We went to an Indians game this summer and there were people in our seats. The row behind them was empty, so the usher suggested we just sit there. That was fine, but then a lady showed up for the seats we were in. The usher suggested she find an open seat, which she did, but she also made a lot of loud comments about why buy a ticket with an assigned seat if she doesn't get that seat, etc. etc. etc. I was uncomfortable. So while I agree it's silly to have all the close seats empty while also being unavailable, it's not like there can just be a free for all.

I don't want to tear Semonza down at all. I like his style. But it's insane to me how little we let him throw downfield. Our offense is so vanilla that we either run it or do short passes, can Kelly really not even throw the ball on our 3-4 yard routes? Kelly brings such an added dimension when you let him drop back and the field opens up. This season is going to be infuriating. Both Semonza and Kelly are put in a really tough situation here. I think losing both Bowick and Robinson really cut into the game planning and we our deep threats. Those two guys on the outside are studs and it took awhile to adjust to not having them. Especially losing Robinson on the first damn play of the game. And then Firestone went out. We had to go with backup WRs the rest of the way, plus Magwood. Those 3 did a really good job. Also lost Webster, who would have been in the backfield some and would have gotten some underneath routes as a TE. Can't see Kelly at BSU next year. He's been royally effed over for 3 years. Even so, if we don't have WR's to throw to, sticking with your throwing QB over your running QB doesn't make sense. Everyone has a plan until they are punched in the mouth. We got punched hard in the mouth by the circumstances, but we didn't adjust.

Our offense is just as predictable as last year. Kelly’s misuse is criminal. The guy needs space so we run him up the gut on obvious run plays? Atrocious. Wtf was that when the d was huddled up on the ready for play. I dont understand why that was called offside instead of a Mo. State td. Does anyone know if that was the right call? Why even were we huddled at the sideline during live play? Really bad unforced error.
