I disagree. The batter wants to hit the ball with his bat. This is like if the batter crowds the plate and leans into the ball, and then flips out when it hits him. This guy didn't crowd the line or lean into the ball, Lewis rifled it at his face. This guy was jumping around attempting to put his body between the ball and its destination. He succeeded. He should have to pick between succeeding at his goal and being awarded a penalty. |

But not all dick moves are fouls. How can you attempt to deflect the ball and then complain when you deflected the ball? That's like intentionally throwing at a batter and then saying "hey he wanted to get on first base". If a player did what Lewis did in the NBA he would take an ass kicking and a suspension for it. they would and it would be ridiculous. The dude was jumping all over the place and made himself a target. (I've hated Iowa players for a long time. They all seem to have punchable faces. Would that be a foul on Lewis? The Iowa coach went nuts but I would think his player was using his entire body to try to deflect an inbounds pass and he succeeded by using his face. Seems like you shouldnt get to jump around doing everything you can to hit the ball while also complaining if the ball hits you.

Channel 4 I think had one question about NIL and what Lewis thought about it at BSU. His answer was a little odd. He talked around it a bit, but it came off like he was expecting schools to pay players. Or maybe I took it the wrong way. To me it seemed like he didn't want to come out and say fans need to pay the players, but that he wants fans to pay the players. |

Yeah I watched the Butler deal as well. The whole event was dominated by an arrogant hubris, which is odd from a school with an acceptance rate of almost 80%. Butler is the very definition of smugness and arrogance.  |

Well we have all drank the kool aid or took the whole line and sinker.. Lets see how his plays out Not me. This guy is winless as our head coach and I'm not willing to hear any excuses about how many games he has coached. I'm not calling for his job yet, but he's on thin ice as far as I'm concerned. |

I can agree with all that, it's why I said it it seemed to be whining, and however it happened, it still hasn't looked good. Could have been handled better. Money talks. Bullshit walks. Stoops left and 00 is still spouting nonsense. So I'd say at BSU Money walks, bullshit talks. |
