Every program no matter how big or small will have some dud hires. The difference between having a few down years and fading into irrelevance is how quickly you remove the duds. We’ve had a streak of duds combined with extreme patience for mediocrity, hence our pathetic results.

Fucking Jimny is already trying to take the center out of sparks and have him jacking up threes. Christ Already? I cant believe it took this long. As soon as Sparks started impressing us all with his post presence I expected Whitford to tell him to cut it out. We’re lucky we got a full season of Sparks doing what he is made to do. And it would be unreasonable to expect improvement, given the 9 year track record of players digressing. |

I can assure you that these bowls and such have made absolutely zero impression on the typical BSU alum, and the community in general, as demonstrated by the attendance and revenue picture. Ask anyone you know, who is not one of the tiny number of season ticket holders, to name any bowl BSU has ever participated in. Who cares what those people think, though? By not making the same decisions and having the same priorities as me they have rendered themselves irrelevant. |

A coach with a winning percentage of .471 after 8 years needs to be dismissed. Even if you take out those first two years he has a .536 winning percentage with a strength of schedule of -1.52. Conference record is 68 and 94. Everything says he needs to be dismissed. Why does he deserve a mulligan on his first two years? Agree he needs dismissed regardless. I dont remember the specifics anymore, but I do remember year 2 being a calamity that seemed at the time mostly outside of his control. The only thing I remember about it was it being comical how many things went wrong. So based on that I wasnt very angry after year 2. Years 3-9 on the other hand… |

My understanding of the extension last year was that we bought time to cheapen his buy out in May or something. I thought we were holding out hope for a change in the middle of the offseason.

4. Trump is supported by white nationalists, does not reject that support, and in the debate in 2020 refused to condemn white supremacy. A day or two later then backpedaled and did so, wink, wink. That he considers many to be "good people" and many other statements may not be "endorsement" but the word I used was "support" which is totally fair. That Trump supporters spoke recently before the White Nationalist PAC and he hasn't said a word shows his comfort in having that group in his "big tent."

Not that the youth excuse needs any more debunking, but our youth is a strength of this team. Take away Sparks and Sellers and we’re a significantly worse team. And with our history of developing talent it’s not like they’re going to get any better.
