Whether Luke wanted to play or not I think is irrelevant. I bet Windham wants to play. I bet Huggins wants to play.
The bottom line is Whitford let Luke on the court after one practice with the team (was it even practice or just pregame shoot around?). That combined with the hype machine suggests the desperate hope that Luke would be a savior. That’s what leaves the bad taste. Luke’s best interests were shoved aside for an prayer that he would be a quick solution. It’s not fair to him.

If Whitford wants to avoid being embarrassed with a good performance out of Windham, that's the way to go. If true this statement speaks to the magnitude of the problems we are facing. |

ISU,Valpo, & Eville are the MVC's NIU, WMU, & CMU they should all 3 be ranked below 250. Why give them credit for losing to other MVC teams. The 3 will be hard pressed to win against any other MVC teams other than among themselves. I saw that the other day. ISU, Valpo, Evansville bottom 3 in their conference. IUPUI worst in the country. Us, Butler, and Fort Wayne around .500. What the hell happened to college basketball in Indiana? |

I bet Whitford is kicking himself that IUPUI wasnt on the schedule this year. Picking the weakest possible SOS is pretty hard but when it’s in our own backyard with a regular opponent it’s gotta be hard to have missed it.

Chandler's dunk at 48:50 mark in this video is probably my all-time favorite in-game dunk. A greater all-around play than the famous one in the UNLV game. Chills. And the emphatic pointing in the defender's face (essentially "F*** YOU!") was classic. I watched that game in the Chug. People were losing their shit. Is that why the floor was always so sticky? |

Guess what Coach Whitford, if you have the 8th or 9th best team in a 12-team conference, most of your schedule is going to be "hard", relative to the strength of your team. That being said, 3 of the next 4 games will be against the three God-awful MAC teams ranked 300+. There will probably be at least a couple wins in there, which of course will cause our brain-dead "supportive" fans to start up their delusionalishness again. But that respite is then followed up with two immediate bitch slaps, in the form of OU and Toledo. Bitch slaps? You call covering the spread getting bitchslapped? We bitchslapped the spread against Toledo. |

This team isn’t going anywhere until Sparks starts taking more 3’s. He’s only taken 4 all year. Does Whitford not realize that 3’s are worth more points than 2’s?

I’m such a big fan I hope we continue to suck for another 20 years so all you pretenders will eventually give up and when we finally luck into a championship you losers wont even know about it.
