Our offense is just as predictable as last year. Kelly’s misuse is criminal. The guy needs space so we run him up the gut on obvious run plays? Atrocious. Wtf was that when the d was huddled up on the ready for play. I dont understand why that was called offside instead of a Mo. State td. Does anyone know if that was the right call? Why even were we huddled at the sideline during live play? Really bad unforced error. I remember a play during Brady Hoke’s tenure while his job was still in jeopardy where our defense was looking at the sideline when the ball was snapped. They realized it was live as the ball sailed over their heads for a wide open td catch. This reminded me of that. |

More proof the pre-season rankings are a bunch of nonsense. Even more now when rosters are rebuilt yearly. I’ve long suspected that pre-season rankings are influenced by making early matchups look more marquee than they actually are. |

It’s a shame the MAC didn’t go after them as wel as Delaware - both going to CUSA. Maybe the MAC did and they said HELL no. Who could possibly say no to this? Ball State vs. Missouri State would rival Michigan vs. Texas in viewership and ad revenue. |

It's typical coach talk. Keep your opposition guessing. I believe Kelly will have a role on offense no matter what signals Neu sends out. I want to believe it too, because that makes perfect sense. However, for some reason, our coaching staff has to be dragged kicking and screaming into letting Kelly touch the football. |

Totally agree, Rob, that it just seems nuts to, all of a sudden, COMPLETELY flip on all that's been said, especially when it adds to the offense. That said though, maybe the logic is to allow Kelly to completely work on the defensive side of the ball without interruptionS. My guess is Kelly will start at QB against Miami and this is all a ruse. I would be worried about exposing our plan, but nobody at Miami can read. |

I’m sure Indiana State at some point. Do you guys like playing them in Indy for the Gainbridge Classic? Or do you prefer alternating home and away with them? Mixture of all three. Agree. I’d like a standard rotation home/away/indy/home/away/indy. |
