What a freaking great show by the old guys. Henley, Walsh & Schmidt still sound like they did when they were 30! Vince Gill is a tremendous replacement for Glen Frey. Gill’s voice is much better and fit in really well. The big surprise for me tonight was Deacon Frey. The kid was fantastic. A better singer than his father and played really well. This is my 4rh Eagles show spanning 38 years and I believe this to be there best. Played for 2 1/2 hrs and I believe the set was 26 songs. I paid premium dollars for 4 tickets on the floor but it was worth it. Did get a little irritated with security who would jump your ass if you had your phone out. No matter, enjoyed the show and even my 15 year old was impressed!! BSU alums in the Chicago market will get a chance to see them Thursday evening. I highly recommend going if you don’t have tickets as this might be your last chance to see an all time great band. Henley, Schmidt & Walsh are 70! Great night!!

I was there also last evening and although I had doubts because it was my first Eagles show without Glenn Grey, I was very pleased. I was always a fan of the early Eagles and the harmonies by the original four members (Frey, Henley, Leadon, Meisner.) Their music is timeless. The only thing I might disagree with is that Gill's voice is better than Frey's. Good voice but not necessarily better for the catalog of music made famous by Frey's laid-back style. Gill did do a better job than Frey on Take It To The Limit, which was really made famous by bassist Randy Meisner's vocals. If I get another chance, I'll probably go again!

I always have a hard time trying to decide whom I believe is more boring The Eagles or Eric Clapton.

I saw a bald eagle on my way to work today. They prefer the term, "follically challenged eagles," thankyouverymuch.
