What year was it when we played (I believe) a top 25 Toledo team here in Muncie and ended up winning on a late (or last second) kickoff return for a touchdown? I remember in the post-game interview the returner said he got hit so hard on the return that both his contacts popped out and he couldn't really see where he was running so just pointed himself towards the yellow goalposts.
Anyone remember that game?

Yep...IIRC it was Corey Parchman (sp?) who ran it back.

Drove down from Indy with a friend and stayed to the end. What a 4th quarter and unbelievable catch at the end. Went to the pub aftrwatprds and no one believed us about BSU winning. A great day in BSU sports.

I saw Adam Sandler in concert at Emens a few days after we beat a ranked Toledo team, and he worked it into his famous (infamous?) "Thanksgiving Song": Turkey is good and turkey is neato...Ball State beat the shit out of the University of Toledo.

Figured I'd embed the vid. I was also one of the 500 remaining people celebrating the win...
