I hope he does great. It was tough to lose him, but you can’t fault him for leaving to go to a big time program like VT.

Its easier for me cause he did it after his freshman year and there was no known Malice between anyone. He was an east coast kid who gambled and it payed off

I know he's gone but it's not that common for someone to transfer up and make that type of impact. He's had an impressive showing so far!

I stay in touch with him.
He is a very complex kid but lazer focused on getting to the next level.
He was encouraged by a couple of folks(NFL players he works out with off season etc.) to transfer to a Power 5 program.
He and I had lunch together in the village the week he left the program. I have no doubt he will do well in college but the NFL is obviously a “tough nut to crack”.
There wasn’t really any discord with our program really just the outside influence and a desire to play closer to home as well.

He had nothing bad to say about BSU or the staff. He just had an opportunity to get to a better program and he took it. I am cool with it

He’s taking his shot. Just wish we still had him.

He’s taking his shot. Just wish we still had him. No question he would have helped us with the long ball and spreading the field.

Hazelton leads Va Tech in receiving yards and touchdown catches. You can watch him take on Notre Dame at 8PM tonight if you're a glutton for punishment.
Someone should put together an "All Time Transfer" team of the best players to leave BSU and find success on a bigger stage. I think it'd be fair to include players who decommitted, too.
