Comments posted about Brohm & McClain are what I’ve been trying to say this team/staff needs to have. “I don’t care if you miss when you get there, just get there full speed every time, adjustments can be made to zero you in” full speed every time, attack-attack-attack!!!! There has to be aggressive play down field. There’s weaknesses, injuries, youth, but man just be focused on arriving with ill intentions! It doesn’t matter which side of the ball you’re on, make sure the opponent knows when they play Ball State they’re going to feel it the next day. Know that on sheer intensity you have a chance to win. You play fast, aggressive, focused football, good things will happen & mistakes can be overcome. Go Cards!!!!! BSU 28 OU 24

I did hear part of a radio interview with Purdue coach Jeff Brohm this week, which I think might apply some to the Cardinals. The interviewer's question was basically what changed between the Boiler's 0-3 start, including a loss to Eastern Michigan, and their current 4-game winning streak, including the upset of Ohio State last weekend. The answer included several different things, but what I took most from it was that as a coach, he started playing to win instead of not to lose. He started trusting his players. He decided he and his team were no longer going to sit back and react, but instead attack, relentlessly, on both sides of the ball. I heard the same interview and thought the exact same thing... Fugh it go for it I think the last game of Neu's first season told us what kind of coach he is. Down by 2 with 3 minutes left on the road, 4th and 2 near midfield, and he chose to punt.
He's not exactly a go-getter.

That still sticks in my craw. He wasn’t that way as a player. He wanted to be aggressive, but as a coach, not so much.

I was apoplectic after that.
