It's a Thursday night game, short week of preparation, so we'll see how that plays out; will the team bounce back from the poor showing of Saturday or show it's true identity?

Ohio has 1460 rushing yards; 1735 passing yards. They sound very balanced. The kicking game looks solid.
BSU has 1484 rushing yards; 2009 passing yards; and a spotty kicking game.
Depends which BSU team decides to show up here - the ND game or CMU 2nd half team? or Saturday's EMU game team?
Ohio is beatable, but it will be tough on the road.

Has anyone been around the team this week? What is the attitude and vibe? Are we going to put the EMU game behind us or are our guys ready to give up? If they come ready to play, we can keep this one close.

Ohio's D is pretty weak. On par with Kent's. I wonder how our team would fare if the game became a shootout?

Well, depends on if we decide to actually attack vertically and move DOWN the field rather than ACROSS It. If we bring the same lack of focus and lack of caring to Athens it’s gonna be uglier than the emu game. Ou puts big points up.

I did hear part of a radio interview with Purdue coach Jeff Brohm this week, which I think might apply some to the Cardinals.
The interviewer's question was basically what changed between the Boiler's 0-3 start, including a loss to Eastern Michigan, and their current 4-game winning streak, including the upset of Ohio State last weekend.
The answer included several different things, but what I took most from it was that as a coach, he started playing to win instead of not to lose. He started trusting his players. He decided he and his team were no longer going to sit back and react, but instead attack, relentlessly, on both sides of the ball.

The ESPN FPI has your odds of winning another game at around 25%. Hell with it. Open up the offense. Go man-to-man on D; be a f'ing pest. Blitz like crazy. Let's see what all shakes out.

In the words of Dave McClain an old but darn good football coach ,''Ya don't score goin' east and west. GO NORTH AND SOUTH.'' Coach Neu you have to throw vertically, (north and south). We have got to play to win. We can't rely on Hagee's foot. Let's rely on our running backs feet. ''No hole make a hole'' Don't play not to lose ...PLAY TO WIN, TAKE A CHANCE, NO ONE WILL FAULT YOU FOR TRYING TO WIN THE GAME . BEAT OHIO BY GIVING YOUR PLAY MAKERS A CHANCE TO MAKE A PLAY. We can beat this team but YOU have to give your play makers the chance. If we go down tomorrow, go down swingin' not with a whimper but with a roar. We can get this done but YOU have to give your squad the gift of your CONFIDENCE. If you can't do that maybe...just maybe...they are not your team anymore.

I was going to type something maybe meaningful and full of stats.. You know the good stuff but I really did not want to waste another night doing that. I just feel like we all already know what the outcome is going to be. Hope I am wrong but I feel like a trip behind the old wood shed is coming.
