Sounds like Pinter still has some work ahead of him Sounds like a college kid who's adjusting to pro life had a single bad play during a rookie year practice. How'd the next play go? Or the one right before it?

Regardless, he does have lots of work ahead of him. Fact of rookie life.

The latest on Pinter from the Indy Star.
Rookie Danny Pinter, the Ball State product the Colts loved in the draft, has lived up to his billing and impressed in his first training camp. Pinter has the versatility to play center and guard, has tackle experience from his college days in case of emergency and was strong at the point of attack.

He played a lot at center during a scrimmage on Saturday, and did pretty well. Struggled at right guard when he got steamrolled a few times, and allowed a sack. Needs to improve his footwork and quickness.
Overall, he seems to have a good chance to make the roster as a backup.

Just heard a radio interview with Andrew Walker of Colts.com where he was very complimentary of Pinter and the job he's done. An article by Walker breaking down the 53-man roster lists Pinter as the top backup at guard and center.

Danny, be a good teammate, be humble, study, learn, and give the Colts a reason to keep you around. Good luck with your career. Proud to call you a Cardinal.

He's kicking ass. The Swiss Army Knife reserve lineman. May end playing some TE in big package.

I heard that, too. Glad it wasn't him that got the illegal block on that play.

Not even sure how illegal that block was. It was a big call at that time.
