The university is in a tough financial spot right now. I'm not sure what happened, but open jobs are being eliminated, and budgets are on hold until the new fiscal year. Athletics is in a pretty deep hole, too, so you can all stop asking if Whitford will be back. Whitford will ride out his contract, period. There is no chance in hell, or anywhere else, that he gets bought out. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Clear enough? C'mon it wasn't like university/state dollars were ever going to be used for a buyout anyway. The question was whether some donors had had enough that they were willing to pony up to have him walk away.

Perhaps donors are being asked to prioritize spending on indoor FB if they have a few hundred thousand to spare.

FWIW - Collier was a redshirt sophomore this past season - and will finish his undergrad in three years this spring. He's immediately eligible for the Muskies and has two years left.

I’m not sure an indoor football facility was part of that campaign.

Yeah I think you guys are correct, it was the new football coaching offices and meeting rooms that were part of the $20 Million.

WMU's Bryce Moore is transferring he did not play this season avg 10 ppg in 18 & was a 2 yr starter & is grad student. EMU lost Silver too have 8 scholarships open next yr & to date have signed 2 JCs. Their blog thinks they will all be grad transfers or JCs as coach tries to save job. Toledo loses James Gordon not sure if he is grad transfer but has completed 3 yrs there only in 5 games this yr.Jaylen Key f NIU to transfer should be grad transfer as he is completing 4th yr in May.Ohio transfers up to 4 new coach appears to be weeding them out. Besides Carter lost Kirk 6'4" Soph 14.1 ppg, Graves 6'5" Fr did not play, & James 6'5" Fr .8 ppg.

Eligible immigrants. Big topic in this country right now. ;-)
I’d take Brunk in a heartbeat.
