It was time man, none of us like where we are at right now. Sadly I think next year will be more of the same. We just do not seem to have the horses and it looks like the MAC west has left us in the rearview

Yeah, things are not the least bit rosy with the program. Some of us have been hearing of internal implosion and CPL has lost the team. I guess we'll find out just how bad things are these last two games. If we phone it in we'll know the program is hitting bottom and players have lost faith in their coaches. If we put up strong fights and perhaps beat OU (a stretch, but there's a chance if we play really well and let our offense make plays instead of shackle them) then maybe there will be enough fire in the belly left to come back strong next year. But then we thought that would happen this year......

"74% chance the Cards close at 0-2, a 25% chance the Cards split at 1-1, and a 1% longshot that they beat both Ohio and BG"
Not completely sure on the math on that one. I guess if they are 1 in 10 to win each game the odds they win both would be 1%, and the odds they lose both then about 80%. Then They split 19%. So it must be something close to that. Sounds pretty dismal.
I still think the fact is that as we went into the season, these would still have been long shot games, maybe not so bad. I am not quite in despair about these games, but like everybody disappointed we didn't pull out the ones we could have won, and worried about what led to the problems.
