Questions for the experts. How many G5 teams? Since most games for G5 teams in conference, how does MAC (and resulting SOS) compare to other G5 conferences?

Questions for the experts. How many G5 teams? Since most games for G5 teams in conference, how does MAC (and resulting SOS) compare to other G5 conferences? At one point a few years ago the mac was near the top the last few years though it has fallen to near the bottom. The top of the Mac West is still considered among the best in the G5 but the other MAC teams kill the conference rankings. This also gets skewed though because Toledo, WMU and NIU feast on the weak MAC. Toledo and NIU are the two teams that could compete and play well in any G5 conference. WMU lived of Fleck and his recruiting they will/are coming back down

But what exactly have those wins gotten Toledo, NIU, Ohio, and WMU? Nothing, really.

Nothing in the grand scheme of things.. Short term bumps in donations. Toledo has a good sustained program.. NIU is getting there
