Big pay day $1.5 million I had not seen reported previously.
The report of the agreement between Miami and Ball State indicated that the Cardinals will receive a $1.5 million guarantee for playing at Hard Rock Stadium. FBS Schedules received reported they received a copy of the game contract via a state open records request. Ball State is a public school. The University of Miami is private.

Big money to get humiliated. It’s what keeps the athletic department somewhat afloat. The guys love playing those games so they can take the drubbing better than fans can. Just no injuries please.

Well the same was said about scheduling the game st Notre Dame we played last year. It was a competitive game against a very high profile opponent and we walked away with respect and a ton of money!

Miami has speed and athleticism ND doesn’t have. That we very obviously don’t have. In college speed kills. You can fight off size if you’re quick enough but if you’re significantly slower it ls hard to overcome. Nd was one damn game. What about the Ou and Toledo games? Hell we lost the very next to a one win WkU. We keep getting caught up in the one off games where we played tough in a loss and try to live off that. That’s not getting us anywhere. They don’t give out banners for played well in a loss vs ND. The only way it’s going to mean anything is if we capitalize on that and win something in the conference. We need to start doing that.

Toledo vs Miami have played 3 times. Miami has won all 3 games by 10 in 87,by 22 in 17 (14 rank), & last yr by 25 (21 rank). We are not that much different than Toledo in size & speed.

Now, now Herman. Toledo only beat us by 41 in '17 and only by 32 last year.
