Another underthrown deep ball to a guy who was covered.

Riley Neal 11-14 for 94 yards in the first half.. Still dinking and dunking but will llikely finally beat NIU Vandy up 14-0

Vandy barely beat NIU....no wonder Neal is getting his ass waxed in Nashville.

I watched the second half of the Vandy/Ole Miss game and Vandy got destroyed by Ole Miss. The QB that was in the game for Vandy was not impressive at all so I would say Vandy is in some serious trouble for the rest of their season. They showed Neal walking off the field at the end of the game and he had grass stains on his jersey so he must have played some in the first half. He looked totally dejected.

Pretty obvious that Vanderbilt didn’t have access to OTP football threads prior to their selection process 😏

There is a 3rd QB, a true freshman, that shows a lot of promise (can run and throw). They are in a rebuild year and may not want to roll him out until he gets a bit more exposure, and until the line matures a bit.

Vanderbilt's line is pretty such the same as what Neal had in front of him at BSU. I thought he played very much like he did at BSU acccept he did not run the ball. The announcers stated he had thrown 9 balls 20 yds or more in the 1st 4 games. & I counted 2 incompletions of 20 yds against Ole Miss. That is a bad SEC team & I don't think they would win the MAC West either.

As has been said before, the play of Neal should not surprise anyone that watched him during his career in Muncie.

Neal got the start as Vandy lost to UNLV 34-10 & it will probably lead to the coach getting fired. Neal threw an interception & lost a fumble. That team is bad & getting worse.
