I do not get that move we have 30 Wr's we did not need him there at all. Now if he were playing Wr every down then ok.

They wanted to “ get him the ball in space” and then don’t use him in a manner to facilitate that. He’s not going to overtake wrs who’ve been in the program as wr for three years. So put him back at rb and throw to him out of the backfield plus get him 5-10 carries a game. He’s been mostly neutralized in kick offs because the kicks are going Into to the end zone.

The Wilborn Move and Dunner to Wr are head scratchers.. I get them both in theory but to move kids their senior year to brand new positions is a tough ask. especially Wilborn playing safety. Safety is a hard position to learn coverage wise. Especially when you get into Zones plus they did not move him until late spring so he has had very limited time to figure it out. Stopping the run from safety is not so bad and he is really good at it. Problem is if he guesses wrong and hesitates or his first step is forward and its a pass. The receiver is by him and its over

They’d be better off putting at strong safety or back at Lb. What it really does is highlight how poor a job they’ve done identifying and recruiting kids who can truly play back there.
