Well, I had two of the last three. Thankfully I was wrong this past Saturday! Picking Cards in a close game Saturday. Although this is prime letdown opportunity with Western and Central ahead. Hoping they like their new found success and lock in Saturday and bring it to Ohio early and often like last week.

This actually might be the measuring stick we have been looking for. NIU and Toledo appear to be bad.. EMU might bw the best Mac team we have faced. Ohio is pretty darn good.. Rourke is going to be a problem. A loss to Ohio is not a bad thing especially if its a good game. If we get trashed then there might be a cause for concern. This game boils down to one thing and that is stopping rourke both passing and running the Ball. If he starts taking off on runs we are screwed. Getting off the field on third down is the KEY

That guy totally gashed us last year. We started off that game ok but quit once OU got running downhill on us.

I think OU brings us back down to earth. Pretty easy to imagine 2 losses coming next, even playing well. I'm relatively happy if we do that. To win either of next 2 we need to play very very well. Trying to stay real about success, I just will not be surprised and not be crushed if we stink up on a game or two along the line. Odds are that happens. We are ahead of the game with two close wins without playing great. Still think our season will be defined by the last games. Want to close a season strong for a change. Definitely do not want to see us finishing up gasping for air. I want to see our best games at the end.

Hell preseason if you had said we would be where we are at(and a few did.) I would have and I did call them batshit crazy. The problem is the winning creates greed and you want and often expect more of it.. Lots of us are losing the our perspective on what we expected myself included

Miami, Toledo, Northern in the same year.. I would love that!!!! WMU has never really been a thing in football in terms of hatred. Fleck caused a little hate but that was on him

We gotta beat cmu and KENT. Those two games are key I think I. I just don’t think we’ll beat OU or WMU. Miami has our number right now so that One may be a toss up at best. As good as Cmu has been I still feel we can beat them.

rm may be right. We all thought that Toledo would be the test to see if we could be a real force but it turned out they are very young and it is costing them dearly...sound familiar? Ohio with their old coach are always a representative team. We need to step up and play to our competition. This team is starting to believe they belong. That alone makes them dangerous. I can tell you without reservation the Ohio coaching staff come into this game wondering if they have a tiger by the tail.

Just heard a radio interview with Dunner.. First off he is either the most selfless player ever or he mastered saying the right thing. He talked about the position change and how he was loving it. They then talked about Ohio and how it would be easy to become complacent after some short term success. He said this team is too mature and been through to much losing to ever let that happen. He said they are angry and every game is the next championship game.. He said Ohio is a good team and they expect a tough game.. He went on to say how tight this team is and how much football is. Now if the rest of the team has really bought into this then maybe we do not need to fear looking past them as much
