If I was included on the list and saw Lembo's name I would ask the award board to delete my name.

Not when it comes to Special Teams, he probably belongs on there.

Lembo quit on us, quit on his assistants, and worst of all he quit on his athletes, because he did not carry out his job to the best of his ability. All suffered because he quit believing in our school , his staff, the Athletic Administration, himself, and worst of all the kids he recruited. He had made wide sweeping statements a few years before that when he left he would leave with the cupboard full of athletes and tradition that could be carried on by other that would follow him. He left Ball State three days before Christmas with a royal mess behind. All this because he couldn't handle being turned down by Wake Forest...poor little man. I could go on but I will not. I would not want a person (he does not deserve to be called a ''Coach'') on any staff I would assemble if I were in a position to assemble a staff. I personally do not think he should coach an intramural bowling team.

None of that has anything to do with where he is and what he does today. Let it go.

Wow, some evidently wouldn’t support one of our own, Joey, but some will support a Coach like Lembo who left the program in shambles. Wow!

Let’s see the bullet points that make Joey Lynch a “difference maker”.
I’ll wait.
Just someone list 3.

Did anyone notice the Lembo nomination as well? Memphis's special teams are ranked #1 per ESPN's FPI measure. I'm not bemoaning his exit, his recruiting was poor, but he's doing well as a unit coach this season.
