We managed to make Teague disappear down the stretch. Whitford has no clue. And the FT shooting, my God.
Won’t be surprised if Walton broke something. We gotta come up with someone to replace him.

Free throws, free throws. It is going to cost us more than one game. Get us to 70% or we will lose lots of close games.

Bad loss. Horrendous free throw shooting and we were not able to cover for our worst defender. They went right after El Amin in crunch time and he got exposed. Thompson is a nice story but is no threat to score. You have to start Bumbalough and take your lumps with his d. We are a bad shooting team that has to make free throws if this is going to be a decent season. If tonight is any indication, we are going to be in trouble. Expect Walton to be out several weeks so somebody is going to have to step up. Defense has been good though we have some very poor on the ball defenders, ie El-Amin.

A real disappointment to lose the way we did shooting free throws. I do not think the coach had a thing to do with the missed freebies. The Cards had shot the free throws reasonably well Sunday at Bankers Life; Walton was 8-8 from the line three days ago. It was almost like missing those unguarded shots was contagious. I also thought the Cards wore down a bit in the last five minutes.
Go Cards!

Well, we didn’t cover the spread.
Got beat at home by a team that shot 37% 😳
Didn’t they also play without their best player?

I predict we will bounce back and ride roughshod over the Bisons of Howard.
Didn’t the Huxtable kids go to Howard University?

Whit has got to develop the bench. Has to.

Getting it through the grapevine that he broke a leg. That's third hand so take it for what it's worth.

I'm so pissed I'm imposing a 24-hour posting rule on myself.

Back in my high school playing days in Porter County at Chesterton in the 1960’s Coach Virgil Sweet was the Master Teacher of the Art of shooting free throws! Witnessing a team performance akin to what BSU threw up from the free throw line Virgil would have - well lets leave it there and you fill in the blanks. He was all about practice, exact repetition in form throughout the entire school system. I had the pleasure to play against Mike Copper (national HS record 409 consecutive free throws without leaving the line) who was the best free throw shooter I have ever seen. Valpo teams were legendary for that skill set and many “wins” attributed to such team skills. www.hoopshall.com/hall-of-fame/virgil-sweet/

Did Calhoun slip and fall on the ice?
He probably parked out on McGalliard since they upped the parking fees

Probably enough stats to begin to determine a trend.
