If we lost KJ we are in trouble; he is our best guard defender, scores in the paint, and is likely the best rebounding guard in the MAC!
We really seem to be snakebit with injuries; Gunn, Hazen for a game, and now KJ 5 games into the season.
These are factual injuries and do cut into our depth??

Did Calhoun slip and fall on the ice? He probably parked out on McGalliard since they upped the parking fees Well first off the people spoke and parking returned to 5 dollars so thats good.. That was as intense of a non conference game as I have a personally seen at worthern. It felt like a conference game that had something on the line. My god the free throws were just horrible and How did josh end up driving to the basket for our game winning shot. If the look on KJ's face meant anything he is going to be out a while. It looked bad and it took three guys to get him through the tunnel. Im not sure what we do if he has to miss an extended period of time. Whit got out coached. NKU put in a smaller quicker team in the second half and it gave us problems. Whit had no counter cause we do not really have a bench. Coleman looked lost tonight, BUmbalough did not play bad but is still playing hesitant. You can see him thinking I need to be here, go there etc. Bottom line is we hit free throws we win. I know its a good story and its happening partly because we have no other choice but at some point you have to give the keys to LUke and live with some mistakes.

A real disappointment to lose the way we did shooting free throws. I do not think the coach had a thing to do with the missed freebies. The Cards had shot the free throws reasonably well Sunday at Bankers Life; Walton was 8-8 from the line three days ago. It was almost like missing those unguarded shots was contagious. I also thought the Cards wore down a bit in the last five minutes. Go Cards! RF I disagree RF. Going into tonight’s game we were 38-69 on free throws thru four games. That’s 55%. After tonight’s shit show we are 49-95 for 49%. That is so bad it’s hard to even fathom. The worst part is we start 4 seniors and a junior who are taking them. That speaks to a lack of mental toughness. None of those guys wanted to be on the line in the second half and I think we missed ten straight at one point. It was just awful to watch. Mallers finally hit two or we would have gone 12 in a row.

I wasn’t able to follow the game, but checked the stats afterwards. That must be a mistake. Did we really only shoot 34% FT and 20% from 3? That is horrendous.

Agree with RC, why was Teague taking KJ’s free throw ? I’d had Mallers.

We managed to make Teague disappear down the stretch. Whitford has no clue. And the FT shooting, my God. Won’t be surprised if Walton broke something. We gotta come up with someone to replace him. Getting it through the grapevine that he broke a leg. That's third hand so take it for what it's worth. Recinding this comment. It was speculation not insider knowledge.

How do we manage to get jabbed at home
I’m pissed at the refs, our poor shooting, KJ getting pushed in the back, free throws, Teague taking KJ’s free throw, frickin technical for Whit being out of the box?
