Update on KJ, ankle sprain out for 2-3 games likely!
Thank God not worse! Maybe a chance to get some younger guys some experience!

He has had 9 rebounds per game the last 3 games out and we will miss that but pleased he’s only out a few games!
I still like this team and had we shot even slightly better we are 5-0, which no one says. Our defense right now is in the top 25 I heard which also hasn’t been mentioned!

And if we had hit just one more free throw, we would be over 50% for the season, instead of 49.5%. And that would only be horrendously bad instead of stupendously bad.....which no one says either.

Defensive stats mean nothing after 5 games.

Defensive stats mean nothing after 5 games. Especially when 20% of the stats are against a D3 team. Eighteenth in points allowed looks somewhat impressive until you look at our schedule.

Can someone explain why KJ didn't dunk those breakaways in the first half last game? Before this season he dunked at almost every opportunity. Lord knows a dunk can do wonders to the rigour mortis like "crowds" we have.

KJ loses the ball a lot when he goes to the basket. Everyone seems to give him the "well he can't shoot from the outside, but he's great in transition and when he can get to the basket."
I'm just not sure that's true. Seems to get stripped a lot or, considering his great vertical, has difficulty elevating at the basket and often can't finish. He's gets fouled a fair number of times also, but a lot of times he just can't finish. Not at the level you would think for a great athlete.

He is no Charles Smith from the 80’s. 6’3 post who was as good as finisher I have ever seen. Legit 6’3 with well over a 40 vertical.
