Folks do believe the coach didn’t have 10 players to practice during the week. Folks don’t believe it was the reason for 28 turnovers and playing so poorly in the 19th game of the season. In the Thompson era we were short balls to practice and now we're short players to practice. What next ??
I'm praying for being short a coach to practice.

I agree with many of the things said but when we win...the staff from very few gets any credit but many pile on them with many words whenever there's a loss.... Fact. Your right we do but I do not think thats unusual this is message board full of psycho fans Call me psycho one more time... and never, ever call me Frances!

I am going to give credit to CMU for stepping up at crunch time and BSU did not. In my eyes, that was all on the players and not either coach. What CMU did the final 5 minutes of the game was very impressive!

Do not add the mandatory excuse he always adds. Losing road games is going to happen At best it's a bad habit he should avoid. Look at the whole exchange, described in today's SP, it basically included all that you ask, he and the team needing to figure it out. He could have stopped there. Still, we are making too much of one line uttered off hand by a frustrated, tired coach. Post game press conferences after a painful loss lead to lots of coach speak and almost always something could have been said better.

What CMU did the final 5 minutes of the game was very impressive! We got close. Should have had a lead going into that stretch, though. Teague by himself could not do it. Needed somebody else to step up.

Teague continues to play to his talent level. If he can keep that up and we get more. Consistent contributions from the others we’ll be ok. Have to get MUCH better guard play.

I agree with the above point that we must get more from our guards: Now that Luke has experience not so certain he shouldn't play PG with Boogey at the # 2 or # 3? Boogey is definitely an offensive threat but seems to be more turnover prone than Luke or Josh. But, regardless we must get more production from our guards. I had posted a few weeks ago that KJ must have tweaked his ankle on the fabulous put back against Toledo and likely they would hold him out until fully ready which seems to be accurate. I recognize that KJ lacks range but he makes up for it with defense, scoring in transition, and rebounding. Most players say that KJ is the best on ball defender and clearly his athleticism is best on the team.
I believe IF we get KJ back for at minimum the last half of the MAC season it could be a bigger boost than some think; when we lost by 15 on Akron's court a few said no way could he have made up the difference....could be true, but also just maybe being a Senior as well as the intangibles like defense, rebounding, and steals could change the complexion of a game.
Regardless, here's hoping he's back soon to enjoy his Senior season and he will certainly provide more depth and scoring to the guard line up.

I guess his ankle injury is very "complicated". Yet, he dresses, warms up and it doesn't appear to be heavily taped. Complicated indeed.

It’s safe to say, KJ’s ankle recovery is not clicking on all fires.
‘Nuff said.

Reality, you are right, I believe the ankle situation is a bit complex albeit you may be possibly thinking its something different? I get it but in Costa Rica it bothered him and in Hawaii it bothered him, and clearly he turned it or landed funny during the Toledo game where he gave a big boost in limited minutes. So, yes, I"d say its his ankle and I am confident both he and Coach want him back on the court asap, but I believe they want him 100% before returning given that he has re injured it a couple of times.
I agree with the decision as having him late and going into the tournament is more important.

Sounds more and more like Andrew Luck’’s “injury.”

Well, let me say it a different way....you either believe its truly an ankle sprain thats difficult to play on or you don't....I believe the staff...
This is not as complex as some our trying to make it....he has repeatedly re injured his ankle...you either believe that or not. Pretty simple.
