Three defensive lineman two JUCOS and an early grad will be in school come January. This is a good indication the staff knows what is wrong and has addressed the needs. A few courses and a spring practice will help these new students acclimate and solidify the defensive front. As Ben Crenshaw said,''I have a feeling."  |

So far 9 of the 18 recruits are Defensive players. Of the 9 we have 7 that are D line. I'm including Crumb who is listed as an ILB but with a few pounds may and should move up on the line. I also believe Williams who is listed on Scout as a DE will move inside. Don't think he has the speed some of these other kids have plus he has inside size. Another DB to look at is Larsen. I think he has similar qualities to Sean Baker.
I'm no expert but I have looked at all their films ( both Jr. and Sr.) and they all look pretty good to me.
Not sure if we're done yet. Could be another scholly or two might open up. Let's not forget walk ons. We have been fairly successful developing some there. Of course some have been overlooked by other teams.
