Plesac on injured list after breaking hand punching the pitching mound. Justified, I guess. It was right after giving up a HR. 🙄 Cleveland in the middle of playoff run. smh Never been the sharpest tool….

Also got suspended in the Covid shortened season when he went out with friends from home while on the road in Chicago.

Alex Call wrapped up his season with the Nationals tonight with a double and a HR.
Call finished with 114 plate appearances, 5 HR’s and a .237 average.
He certainly “lived the dream” these last couple of months.
Congrats to a guy who stuck with it!

Even if they don't keep him and he gets no more opportunities, at least he shot his shot. He made it. Forever in the books.

I believe the Nationals will definitely keep a spot for a guy that hit .237 and more importantly 5 dingers in 137 AB's.
