I have a friend whose daughter is choosing beteeen BSU, Trine, & DePaul and has asked for input about schools on FB.
Someone said BSU has the party school reputation. I knew it was that way years ago but what is it like these days. I'm in the mood for a good debate on FB today.

Wasn't that from a Playboy issue in like 1990?
The fraternities were dry I thought.
Granted, I'm sure they party more than Trine but I don't know that it's different than any other school.

Yep as a recent grad, no longer should be considered a major party school. Still lots of fun though.

DePaul should issue body armor with each admission, although it's not as bad as Chicago State.
And Trine is a very small, overpriced school in the middle of nowhere.
BSU has calmed down a bit, although near campus crime seems to be on the upswing. I have no numbers to back that up, just how it appears to me.

When there used to be a thriving village area and a not so present Campus police force, maybe the rep was genuine. Not now. I always thought to make the party school lists it was based on a men to women enrollment metric?

Trine is low level engineering and science with small programs in business. Nice little campus. Not at all like others.
