That pillar of academic and athletic excellence, which Billy Taylor once wanted to establish a recruiting pipeline with (he was able to get Chris Bond and the other one, last name Robinson, if memory serves) seems to have developed a few problems; the "Academy" has been suspended from all ISHAA tournaments thru 2017-2018. It would appear Bowman Academy has "numerous violations" and run amok, run afoul, or just got the runs. My favorite noted violation was:
"One of the violations came earlier this season when a boys basketball player participated in a game despite not being enrolled at the school".
That is kind of a 'what were they thinking' moment.
