I gather that one of the things you can bet on with the Super Bowl is the length of the national anthem.
What would stop the singer from working with well-heeled and under-scrupulous gamblers to fix this bet? Who would police that? Would it even be illegal?

Someone in New England made a deal with the devil in the year 2000.

ATL OC should be ashamed of his play calls immediately after Jones caught that sideline pass in Q4.

You could see that coming a hundred miles away. Shanahan cost atl the game with his play calling.

Why can't Ball State teams find ways to win like NE does? That's ALL I ask! Hahaha

I'm afraid Manning over Brady is no longer a viable argument.

I'm afraid Manning over Brady is no longer a viable argument. Sadly. Nope.

The horror. The pain. The reality they'd been had.

I don't think I've ever seen an athlete who improved physically and elevated their game more in their late 30's than Brady. Imagine if Manning's arm had held up so long...

I imagine the Atl owner came down to the sideline in anticipation of celebrating the victory with the team. Those shots WERE hilarious, as they began to look progressively more bewildered and shell-shocked as the comeback unfolded.
When the Patriots got the ball off that sack/fumble, I mentally awarded the game to them then and there. Remember - they were still down 16 well into the 4th quarter at that point.
Unlike 95% of the people I know, I was rooting for the Patriots. Naturally I always hated them in the days when they stood between the Colts and the super bowl, but that's obviously no longer relevant. I love the way Belichick deals with the media. Not unlike a certain politician of recent prominence. They don't deserve any better, but most people fear them for their ability to bully, smear and distort, and so have to play their game. His press conferences are comedy gold. They are like a piece of genius, subversive performance art. Like something Andy Kaufman would have done. I'm glad I have come to appreciate him while he is still around. You'll tell your grandkids about him one day.
Also I agree with this thought of HL Mencken: “The older I get the more I admire and crave competence, just simple competence, in any field from adultery to zoology.”
