Getting excited for some Ball State home games and making plans for road games at Texas A&M and Northwestern. Would love to see these type of crowds for every BSU game!

Sadly we have to be stringing together a lot of wins for those crowds to come back

We need the fans to return en masse to support this team. People must make a commitment to come to Muncie and on the road if possible and cheer for these representatives of our University. We are not going to win them all but I can assure you with athletes we are putting on the field of play we will be exciting. If we can increase crowd sizes it will lead to better recruits, more money, better facilities, and more wins. We have a new President and Athletic Director, let us show them and the rest of the conference Ball State University is one place you dread traveling to and playing. It does make a difference...BELIEVE ME. See you at the stadium. GO CARDINALS.

That picture makes me proud..However, it always bugged me when I went to school there..2003-05 for grad school..I saw more Hoosier and ND apparel on the students than BSU garb. The apathy towards sports runs deep in the students and Muncie residents.

That picture makes me proud..However, it always bugged me when I went to school there..2003-05 for grad school..I saw more Hoosier and ND apparel on the students than BSU garb. The apathy towards sports runs deep in the students and Muncie residents. Our inability to transition after losing a stud QB has really hurt us. In 2008 we had Nate Davis throwing 40 yard bombs. In 2009 we had Tanner Justice one-hopping balls to receivers 10 yards away. Then we went from Keith Wenning to the three and out machine known as Ozzie Mann. We've had our moments, but there's never been anything more than the occasionally successful team to hold anyone's interest. It doesn't help that you have a direct rival in Northern Illinois going from Harnish to Lynch to Hare and beating us like a drum every year in the process.
