This is vaguely reminiscent of basketball a couple of years ago.
I like the players, like the coach, we may have played too tough a schedule, but now we are just not able to put it together.

No losses are ideal but the IU loss isn't as concerning as getting swept by Ohio. They really need to take at least 2 of 3 against Western because the margin of error is already razor thin for MAC seeding down the road.

46 runs and 52 hits in the series.
It wasn't like Western was THAT much of a dog, either.
Stayton batting better than .333 since his return to the lineup.

Exactly what the Cardinals needed this weekend. And then some with the 18-3 cap of the sweep. Ideally I hope they take this as momentum and win at least 3 of the next 4 MAC series.
