We will beat Notre Dame next year Great opportunity this year to see the ND vs Miami game which will give us a sense of what our chances might look like next year. BSU should be a better team next year.

Looking forward to the scrimmage in the morning as well. Still a bit of camp left but this scrimmage should give us an idea on what to expect.

It was not great,
The ones first 2 drives starting at goal had procedure penalties and both were Punts. Third drive started from 50 and did result in a nice fade pass from Neal to Riley Miller for a touchdown. The ones fourth and final possesion started at redzone and they could not to score
The 1st unit D was able to pressure Riley alot it has hard to tell if the Offense looked bad or the D looked good. It was probably a combo of the Offense being bad and the D being a bit better. D line looked good, Secondary was never really tested
second team moved the ball much better as a unit but this is against the 2nd defense.
Redshirt Freshman Nolan Givans a real vocal leader was given the first team hell for not playing well.
Rb's Gilbert did not play much, No reason we know what he can do
Bulk of Reps went to Dunner and HUntley both played with ones and twos
Dominique played the one series that the threes received. He had the play of the day bouncing one down the sideline for a 40ish yard td
WR's
Houge Lacanaria and Miller got the "start"
Miller had the one touchdown, Lac and Houge did not do much of anything
Newton, Endsley, Hall also played alot with ones and Two's. Hall has been in with the ones the entire camp. He and endsley are going to play alot.
Antwan Davis and Littles also had catches. Littles made a great catch on a 30ish yard throw from Milas then turned around and dropped the easiest 10 yard out there is.(Freshman) Littles also got dinged up and had Ice on his knee. Did not look to be serious
As said earlier the D line looked good was able to get pressure
Not alot of surprises on the D side.. Basically returning players with the exception Of Verenzo Holmes who played with the ones alot
Freshman Jimmy Daw and Bryce Cosby both had a nice play. Redshirt Freshman James Jennete also made a play
With all the talk of the tight ends I think the were still only targeted maybe a couple times. Givans tried to reel in pass that was slightly off from Riley. Probably should have made the catch
Still a bunch of work to be done. There were some nice moments today but it was not impressive

Report coming tonight I need some beer I think, as a functional representative of BSUfans.net, you can legally take your Saturday beer expense as a business deduction. Trust me, I use TurboTax.

I was impressed by the play of the young CB's. Made a lot of plays on the ball when it was thrown and had much tighter coverage than I have seen in years.....

Those young buck corners are aggressive and cocky and don't back down.

So, they won't give the wr a 10 yard cushion and still find a way to get burnt? It is so frustrating to see the other team get a free 8 yards whenever they want it and still get beat deep. Hopefully these new dbs can improve on that.

I don't think I've ever heard of this Endsly kid, is he a walk-on? Also, has Gibbs been getting any action? I know he was one of the higher rated recruits coming in.
