Dean Anna just completed the season with Omaha in the PCL. He was the primary 2b & played some SS. This was 5th season in AAA & 4th year in the PCL. He has proven to be a scrapper & this year was no exception he hit .285 with 5 hrs & 33 rbis. I was hoping it warranted a September call up to the Royals but it did not happen. He will turn 31 in November & suspect he may have a difficult time getting a spring training shot in the spring do to his age. Anyone know if he has a desire to coach or manage? He is the only BSU player to both pitch & play in the infield in the majors & is certainly a jack of all trades. I just want to salute a player who always gives his all in the field & hope he gets a chance to play next season.
