I keep thinking the Colts should trade one of their WR's for an guard. Maybe Moncrief. It seems to me that WR's are generally regarded as more valuable than guards. Guards are certainly paid less and drafted lower. So, couldn't you possibly get someone who is a better guard than Moncrief is a WR? Of course it all depends on finding a trading partner with the right needs and assets.
I'm all for giving Luck lots of weapons, but it seems that there is a huge imbalance between weapons and proctectors at this point. Isn't there?

I'm all for giving Luck lots of weapons, but it seems that there is a huge imbalance between weapons and proctectors at this point. Isn't there? There always has been, and there always will be. This organization will never put an emphasis on its offensive line or defensive front. They want to draft flashy players with flashy highlight reels that will get the fans hooked. They know they're dealing with a small-market, fair-weather fanbase in a basketball-centric state, and having a QB who throws 40 TD's to big-name receivers will sell more tickets than drafting offensive linemen and investing heavily in the defense. I'm glad I've already seen the Colts win a Super Bowl before, because I have zero confidence in this regime to win another one anytime soon.
